Coins buy new ways to bother the cow: the stick is your first cheap upgrade and earns faster than the finger, the bat sends her on a home-run arc across the pasture, the boxing glove springs out cartoon-style for big combo hits, and the cow-tipper is the endgame toy that flips her clean over. Don't hoard coins early — buying the stick as soon as you can afford it snowballs your earnings, while the cow-tipper is a long grind that's worth saving for once the other three are unlocked.
Hidden in the game are twenty secret reactions, each triggered by a specific sequence of five pokes using different weapons. The first one is the easiest — five plain finger pokes in a row — and it exists to teach you the pattern language. After that they get sneakier: mixing weapons, repeating one tool in odd positions, or ending on the one you'd least expect. The collection screen tracks your progress as ❔ silhouettes, so you always know how many are left. Find all twenty and you earn the 👑 Cow Whisperer crown.

Serious secret hunters use hints surgically: reveal the first two pokes of a code, then brute-force the remaining three yourself, which is usually faster than guessing blind and cheaper than revealing everything. Combos you've already discovered stay unlocked forever, so there's no risk of losing progress.
